Hey, so first of all, we should establish what is veganism. In a very broad sense, it's a choice not to use animal products at all (food, clothing, cosmetics etc), as much as possible. Meaning sometimes it's inevitable because for example medicine might be tested on animals.
For our family, this meant that we mostly ate vegan food. Especially me and Sarah. Peter sometimes ate non-vegan items. Me personally, also chose to try to use vegan and cruelty-free products.

100 days of veganism.

Today marks the 100th day of me being vegan. Peter is a bit behind, but I wanted to write what I have learned, noticed and thought in this time.

Why I became vegan

So thing is, once you know the truth, it is very very very hard to ignore. I watched documentaries. I saw how cows, chicken, pigs were treated. I saw how calves (baby cows) were removed from their moms almost immediately after giving birth, to save more dairy. I saw how chicken were boiled alive to remove feathers, and how even kosher slaughterhouses cut animals throats while they were still alive and twitching. I know all this...

But let me start with some older news.

We are vegan. Me 86 days now, Peter 58 days today. And why? Well it all started quite a while ago, in my old work place, where there was a girl who was a vegan. And it made me think. More than 2 years later, that same interest came back. And then we watched some documentaries. I can't remember which ones i watched alone, and which ones with Peter. But things i have watched:
