Australia (Part 5)

2nd january continues. We left off with some cows and us on our way to another lookout. At one point during my stay there, i forgot to mention this thing. Peter, my dear Peter, he did something so adorable! He learned how to make coffee just the way i like it. Not like just press a button on a machine, no, no! He ground some beans, put them in the thing where you put ground beans, press them, put that in a coffee machine.

AUSTRALIA (Part 4)

We left off where we just got splashed with water. Well now comes new years eve! First time ever that i have new years eve in a)in another country; b) in another continent; c) in a warm climate! :D Haa! So many firsts through this trip. So what do you do when you have nothing to do on the last day of the year? Well we went to the cinemas to start with.

Australia (Part 3)

Where were we… oh yes, christmas was celebrated properly now in a warm Australian weather. Next day (29th of december) Peter’s mum and sis took me out wanting to spend some “girl” time with me :) We went to have coffee at Artista i think it was called. Apparently one of the best coffee places in town. And yes it was good, but i had had already two big coffees at home.

AUSTRALIA (Part 2)

-–the story continues. It’s the 26th of december, and again i wake up to strange sounds. My motel is located close to the golf course, which means more animals there. And by the sounds i have no idea, if it’s monkey, or a bird or whatever. Kinda strange, but not scared. I know how before going to Australia, people are like “oh, you know there’s like poisonous stuff there, like frogs, snakes and such?

Yesterday i got to a point where i was thinking that, oh, haven’t really posted about my trip much. And it’s been way too long. Some people have asked me about it, but mostly they ask about “how did he propose” :D But besides the proposal to have my hand in marriage, which i’ll also write about, i’d love to share what did happen there in the two weeks i spent there.

In the background playing this But what i wanted to write (when i am not singing along to the songs :D ), is that i am praising God!!! For several reasons. 1. I AM BACK IN MY ROOM! I lived in the guesthouse for a week and a half and during that time my room got renovated. I have more or less all new furniture, carpet on the floor now, new sink with cupboard under it and above it, new shelves, bed, nightstand, table, even trash can!

Something that is really close to my heart is being noticed, to be seen, to be someone. The feeling that you are appreciated, noticed, cherished, important, valued, that you matter. Bible says to us: “And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” - Matthew 10:30-31 (NLT) I’ve seen people on streets, homeless, street kids and other less fortunate.

Well been a while again since i’ve written. Today i sit in public area in the college because i moved. I had to move out of my room since they are renovating. I know people say that “oh wow, how wonderful”, but what i see is that i need to get out of my routine. I am very stuck with my routine and it’s rather challenging to be pushed out of that.

Support

A while ago i shared how i don’t have jobs anymore. I used to have two, for those who didn’t hear that news. But for two different reasons, i don’t have them anymore. Which means, i only rely on support. I do try to not spend, well almost anything, because i don’t have my own income anymore. But i am still surviving! Yes, that is a word i’d use, because well it is very “challenging” to live like this.

*** WARNING This is a VERY scary, open, vulnerable thing i am sharing. Might need tissues. Might be terrible to read. Proceed at your own risk….. *** For quite a while i have thought if i should write this. And i think i will. Well i am. You know. This is hard thing for me to speak of, but i want you to know. You, who looks into my life through my blog.
